The Durel Beetle and Dung Fly are a species of monsters resembling scarab beetles. Unlike other monsters, these enemies are not palette swaps of each other; both are the same enemy, with one extra feature. Both variants in this monster line are Blue-affiliated.

A Durel Beetle (ヘベレル Hebereru) is a flying, orange-colored variant with a blue back.

In-battle, the Durel Beetle can use the following battle commands:

  • Attack: A standard physical attack.
  • Driln
  • Slipara
  • Call Allies: The monster cries out, potentially summoning an additional Durel Beetle into the current battle.

When defeated, Durel Beetle yields 108 EXP, 55 Gold, and have a 3% chance of dropping a Behemoth’s Ring. They are fought in the airspace around Maramba and within the Temple of Pyrynn.

The only threatening thing about the Durel Beetle is Slipara, which could leave your party members vulnerable to other enemies' attacks. Other then that, they shouldn't be too difficult to swat.
