Loopers are a species of monsters. These bizarre tear-shaped creatures have many palette swap counterparts, each with varying levels of strength and elemental attributes fought in different locations in the game. Among many players of Skies of Arcadia, Loopers are infamous for their high dodge percent and their tendency to run away, making it difficult to defeat them.
According to the Loopers' Nestdiscovery, Loopers are creatures that are rarely seen by even the most seasoned sailors. At birth, they are white, but change color as they grow older.
Run: This monster has the ability to try and run away, thereby removing it from the battle if successful. This ability removes the monster in a way that doesn't count as a kill (the party will not gain any EXP or Gold).
When defeated, Loopers yield 11 EXP, 105 Gold and have a 2% chance of dropping a Thief’s Aura and a 1% chance of dropping a Dexus Seed. They are fought throughout the Mid Ocean, as well as within Shrine Island.

When defeated, Loopalons yield 343 EXP, 434 Gold and have a 4% chance of dropping a Black Map and a 1% chance of dropping a Dexus Seed. They are fought within the Temple of Pyrynn, as well as the airspace around Maramba and the early portion of the South Ocean.

When defeated, Eloopers yield 581 EXP, 599 Gold and have a 4% chance of dropping a Black Map and a 1% chance of dropping a Dexus Seed. They are fought in the later portion of the South Ocean, as well as Ixa'Taka airspace and Moonstone Mountain.

When defeated, Yuloopers yield 911 EXP, 794 Gold and have a 4% chance of dropping a Black Map and a 1% chance of dropping a Dexus Seed. They are fought throughout the Valuan airpsace.

When defeated, Goloopers yield 1,139 EXP, 789 Gold (notably less than the weaker Yulooper) and have a 4% chance of dropping a Black Map and a 1% chance of dropping a Dexus Seed. They are fought throughout Yafutoma airspace and within Mount Kazai.
